If I were to block a creature that gives other creatures +1 +1 counters and kill it first. Would the counters come off the other creatures immediately before I choose which other creatures to block. Or do the counters stay on until the blocking phase is over, than the counters come off. I was always under the assumption that the counters come off as soon as the creature is sent to the graveyard. Me and a friend had a dispute over this. Can anyone help?
