listen to, but what do you read? No matter your political persuasion, I thought it might be interesting to see for example: what periodicals you subscribe to, newspapers you buy, political magazines or books, online columnists, political authors you like, or any of the sites you depend on for your information. Or, if you don't trust any source so reject them all that's cool too of course, and feel free to say so.

This is not a set-up, no smart remarks (from me at least), just curious!

That was funny...:)

I do not subscribe to any periodical, so much free on the net. I visit cnn.com, foxnews.com and msnbc.com daily. I also look at the reuters and AP feeds through yahoo. For local news, with some national, I view the Boston Globes and the Boston Heralds website, along with the local ABC stations site here. Also look at the BBC's site occassionally. Television wise I'll watch CNN, Fox or MSNBC, whichever one is doing news at the time without a big name, agenda pushing talking head.

I think you have hit on the biggest reason why you see so many answers that just do not make sense. There is good information on the internet but you have to search for it. Sites that are .com contain mostly opinion but if you want good information then you need to go to .org or .edu sites. TV is the same, the news is done factually but there is always a hint of opinion in the way it is presented. I like to read the Post but as I am reading I am conscious of the fact that again, I am dealing with someone's personal opinion.

Personally, I think that New York Times is leaning towards the left. So I choose to read balanced newspapers, like Wall Street Journal! that's my favoirte!
