Here I go again... breakfast...

Picture bacon and scrambled egg beaters messing around with a combination
of avocado and Monterey Jack cheese and some mild green chiles. on rye!

I named it "Sunrise Sin".

Good morning Andy!

I eat only one meal a day and it isn't breakfast. hehe

As a result of my meds, my body has a very slow metabolism and one
meal a day *still* gives me enough calories to need exercise to offset
them.

I wish I could eat a bunch of times each day, but once is it!

Your breakfast sure sounds good though!

Sounds delicious. I had a couple of ounces of havarti jalepeno cheese
along with about 10 grapes. Red skin grapes.
One thing I don't like these days about grapes is that most of the
stuff in the markets are seedless. The day I bought the grapes, there
were only seedless varieties being sold. I like the crunch of grape
seeds. They are also healthy.

Portland,

Funny you should mention it...

For the longest time I stupidly thought all red grapes had seeds.

There was a time, I remember! :(

I am confused.

Why so called egg beaters with unhealthy bacon? Why not use whole egg?

Why so called healthy cottage cheese with unhealthy peanut butter? Why not
use cream cheese?

Am I missing something here? My initial guess is: use what is available.

A little bit of peanut butter is OK. As long as you buy the stuff
with no added salt or sugar and no hydrogenated vegetable oil. I have
a heaping teaspoon usually every day. Cottage cheese is great stuff,
but I wish they wouldn't salt it as much. BP concerns.

That's funny Andy! You have the morning covered and I have the evening

Seems obvious, if one cares to reduce calories, fat and/or cholesterol.
Bacon with EggBeaters keeps the most flavorful components and substitutes
where the flavor difference is not large. I keep EggBeaters and eggs on
hand and use them as required; for example, no matter how good a cook, you
cannot make sunny-side-up or over-easy EggBeaters. 8-)

With regard to peanut butter; your assertion that it is unhealthy is not
correct. The obvious exception is, people with peanut alllergies.

Why do you think cottage cheese and peanut butter are unhealthy? And I
don't like cream cheese. That's why I don't use it.
I think you're missing something. I don't know what.

Bacon and Peanut butter, I always thought High in fat and salt. So why
combine with them low calories or low cholesterol food items. It is my bad
thinking on this. Previous thinking, If your going blow a diet go all out.
However, it is probably a good idea to combine healthy foods with a little
flavoring from the higher fat and high salt foods.

Julie,

Well, right off the bat, the combination sounds deadly!

Meanwhile, talk to me about... uhm... oh... say, avocado and
spaghetti!!!

Something that I couldn't possibly be blamed for in the near distant
future!

Bullsh*t doesn't happen very often...

But, then there's NOW! :D .
