Hepatitis C test results? How long does it take?

I got a Hepatitis C test yesterday. I got a phone call today saying I am negative. They told me it could be up to two weeks to find out. They just drew blood from the inside of my elbow, I don't know what specific Hep. C test they did. I was relieved that it was negative, but I'm getting another test because it just didn't seem right getting the results so quickly. Is it normal for them to come back so quickly?
I guess my real question is, should I trust these results at all? Or go with my suspicion and get another test?
