That's very true, I can see how that would really appeal to Henry on so many levels. She's so much more interesting and intriguing than his other wives/mistresses.
And JRM/Natalie's chemistry is undeniably amazing.

ITA with that completely. I love that Anne can be a good girl at times and then wicked at others. She's neither fully one or the other. Which I think is what intrigues Henry. At least that's what I think of what I've seen so far.
ITA, that version of H/A pales in comparison to this version. Natalie and Jonathan have so much chemistry its insane.

ITA, I've not watched it yet but I do love that in his final hours, it was Anne that was on his mind. And I think he does regret, deep down, what happened to her.

I became one after I watched TT even though I did read about the history previously and found them to be a fascinating pairing.
It's mainly because I love Anne as a character SFM which is IMO because of the fantastic actress who played her on the show, Natalie. She is basically flawless in the role and paints Anne as neither black or white, she comes across as a morally grey character who is flawed in so many ways but yet you still feel compassion for her when her downfall comes. I might not have loved HA so much otherwise, because Henry is quite a despicable character most of the time.
I did like The Other Boleyn Girl but their version of Henry/Anne and Anne pales in comparison with TT, IMO.
