Henpecked characters

Have there ever been cartoons in which characters who have been yelled at or pushed around frequently by their domineering spouses ever gotten back at them?

Well, there was Unicorn in the Garden, an animated short based on a short story by James Thurber. The husband ended up getting his nagging wife committed to an asylum, if that counts.

The Flintstones' Wilma and Betty treated Fred and Barney real poorly till those gals got theirs in the end (literally) when, out of curiousity, they chose to sneak in The Water Buffalo Lodge, disguised as members; they were mistaken as newcomers for the Lodge's initiation ritual and got their butts swatted (again literally) by Fred, Barney and their fellow Water Buffalos!! HUZZAH!!

Originally, Mrs. Tweedy was going to verbally abuse Mr. Tweedy one last time and, finally having enough, he pushed the wall on top of her.

The test audience didn't like this, so they cut it to make it look like the wall fell by itself. But if you look carefully you can still tell he pushed it.

In the classics, a lot of characters had "henpecking" situations.

Both Daffy Duck and Yosemite Sam married rich widows only to be pushed around by them.

In the cartoon THE WISE QUACKING DUCK, Mr. Meek is apparently pushed around by his wife.

In PLUTO'S QUIN-PUPLETS, Fifi forced Pluto to watch the puppies while she went to get the food.

True, but none of those characters ever got back at their nagging spouses. That was the original question. And I have to say (especially in the case of Oscar from The Proud Family), that would have been very pleasant to see.

How is Peter Griffin henpecked? Sorry, but I don't see it. Lois let's him run all over and get away with everything. He even shot their own daughter (literally) with a gun, and she still stays with him.

I think that we need to re-read the topic of this thread.
