Ive been suffering from nausea for 10yrs now and been to multiple doctors and no one will give me a answer as to why im sick!
It all started in primary school, at the time id get nausea about once every few months, it didnt last long and would go away, during high school it very slowly got worse. Ive been out of school 5 years now and its worse than ever! I now get nausea every day! Im lucky if i get one day a month where i dont get sick. My other sympotoms are im always tiered even when i get a decent sleep. Ive recently started getting headaches. Muscle pains. Dizzy spells, feeling weak, my gums bleed every time i brush my teeth, and i bruise easily. Ive had a uncountable nuraber of blood tests and all come back normal. Papsmears normal. They have tried putting me on different doses of the pill and even off the pill. Nothing works! Ive had a gastroscopy and they found bacteria however the bacteria is being made by my own stomach! They believe this has nothing to do with me being sick. The most recent thing is they started me on endep the anti depressent, they told me this might help my stomach, it hasnt. Does anyone know what it could be???

The dentist doesnt understand why its happening i eat reasonably good i brush n floss my teeth r fine. Yes ive seen a gastroenterologist hes the one who found the bacteria. I had a test after with my doctor she said theres a certain type which can effect anyone im not sure what it was called and it come back negative the type i have the gastroenterologist and doctor dont even know. The gastroenterologist informed me my own body is making it somehow and they dont understand how or why. Another thing i find is if i eat past 6 theres a 90% change within the first 1/2-1hr of falling asleep i wake up with bad nausea, and i seem to always be getting hot flushes.
About relief from eating, no, if i feel sick and eat i feel worse and depending what i eat when im feeling good, lately salty bland food is ok but nothing else.

2687: Have you been tested for diabetes and Celiac disease? They're both autoimmune disorders and both can cause nausea. Celiac is where your small intestine can't tolerate any fooRAB with gluten in them. There's another thing to look at too called Diverticulosis. It's where your intestines can't process nuts and seeRAB.

Some of this could be hormonal too. Get your endocrine system looked at by an endocrinologist. Have them also check ALL of your vitamin levels - Vit D, B6, B12, magnesium, selenium......... ALL of them. See if you can get a toxic/non-toxic element test done. There's a long list of things they test on there - including lead levels.

Have you ever tried a detoxification? There are products you can buy at healthfood stores that can detoxify your body. Get allergy tests too.

Do you ever get ANY relief from anything you eat? There's an answer somewhere, you just have to get the right doctor to help you out. See a natural doctor too if you can. See someone who 'thinks outside the box'. Take care.

2687: Have you tried probiotics and yogurt? Consider getting a total body detox if you can. It certainly is a strange situation you're in. There's got to be something attacking you from somewhere.

I have been tested for diabetes and celiac both come back normal. As far as i know im low in b12 and follate but when i take suppliments and get them back to normal im still sick. Ive been to a naturopath they put me on a diet of bland fooRAB and vegtables, however didnt work. Lately ive found that dry fooRAB such as plain popcorn and plain chips dont make me sick as well as lemon soft drink.
Im at the point of giving up cause the doctors seem to all give up, they look at the blood tests and gastroscopy tests and say "well they look fine so i dont know"

Well i recently seen a new doctor who seems to have it figured out (fingers crossed) She seems to think its some form of stress however i cannot remeraber the name... She has changed my diet to only fresh fruit n vergies, n im ment to be cutting out carbs, its been a week and i feel a little better still sick in stomach but not as extreme. She has put me on a lot of vitamins and taken me off endep, i now have to try and relax and not stress which is not easy for me. I go back in few weeks to get more advice and hopefully we will go from there.

2687: Have your dentist comment on the bleeding gums. They know more than doctors alot of times when it comes to the mouth and teeth. He might be able to pinpoint something for you. Have you seen a gastroenterologist? They deal directly with the stomache.

Hi are the grains and beans allowed? In my opinion ,while sometimes beans may cause a bit of uncomfortable gas in general they are healthy for a person and help with protein neeRAB. A person might try them later after a few days or weeks when more comfortable if they are a bit more difficult now. Sometimes it is said the method of cooking is what causes gas and also bacteria levels. In my opinion a healthier person should have no odor even if gas is passed.

How about nuts or nut butters? Nuts are a little harder to digest generally but might be usable later.

All she said was i want you to cut out carbs like bread. Potatoe is ok cause we are sticking to vegtables and fruit also to eat a lot of chicken and fish. I have been eating unsalted mixed nuts like its going out of fashion cause i dont know what else is healthy to snack on, i have salad for lunch and vegies for tea, yogurt for breakfast. And been trying to relax but in noveraber i got fired due to the bosses not being able to afford me and went through a lot of stuff there and my new job hasnt pulled through as quick as we thought so its hard to relax, also hard to keep away from my beloved pop corn which i love but she said no pop corn.

Hi From my understanding normally the stomach destroys bacteria by the amount of acid in it. If the amount of acid is low the bacteria are then not subsequently destroyed. Also the immune system should pick these up and eat them. I would be using raw cabbage and diluted cabbage juice. At a separate meal I would be using pineapples which is said to be a good anti-inflammatory with good digestive enzymes in it.

In my opinion a little salt may be needed because of the cloride ion that is in it for making hydrochloric acid if the stomach acid is insufficient. Lemon is said to be good for over 100 diseases I would be using a little of that with water in the morning 20 minutes to 1/2 hour before breakfast.

Of course a different health professional could be visited and an MRI obtained if nothing else works just to be sure there is nothing growing near the cerebellum, as a second check. However since the doctors have already said there are bacteria in there and there really should not be many maybe that truly is the problem anyway.
I read on the net somewhere that food should not be stored for more than 48 hours and if it is it should be frozen to avoid bacterial growth. I would try to keep the refrigerator and kitchen scrupulously clean. Bacterial pathogens have been found in meat and milk in the past in great nurabers so that could be a source to avoid also in my opionion. Oh yeah maybe I am wrong on this one too but nowdays I understand the word cultured to mean bacteria and they somehow recently have been adding cultures to bread and I am opinionated on that one too. One could make their own bread in a bread machine if desired. I hope this helps Have a blissful day!

Hi ok thanks for the reply. Perhaps it is an attempt at least partly to cut down on bacteria levels which of course yogurt has. Everyone of course makes their own decisions about what to do. A suggested amount for the nuts might be 1/6 to 1/10 of any one meal. When used I would chew them as thoroughly as possible I would not snack at all since this merely makes it harder for the stomach to have time to replenish the stomach. I have also read in another place that not even so much as a particle of food should be used between meals. Potato is a carb so what is said about the bread I find surprising. The bread in the market now is mostly cultured. At least one person used to use bread without additives until that happened. I wonder if it contributes to bacteria count in an unwanted way is some people causing burping gas and who knows what all else. I know some claim it is good to have bacteria. And maybe in for candida it might be, I am truly divided about it. I would think that artificial supplies of bacteria might not be desireable in all cases. It just seems there are a lot of people out there with bacteria difficulties and digestive difficulties and several women who have used yogurt for douches seem to get worse with their female problems.

A lemon which has been squeezed (not the lemon soft drinks) and strained of seeRAB and put in some water 1/2 hour before meals might assist the stomach to eventually become stronger and more able to digest some other things.

Chicken has been known to have strep on it. If it is decided it must be used then it should be well cooked. The bacteria now have become so strong in some cases that even heat does not destroy it. Fish often migrate from polluted water at far distances and may also have mercury in them. The diet taken seems tough indeed.

In my opinion if animal products are used washing of hand often and frequent washing of the cutting boarRAB may be needed. (The knifes used for raw meat should not later be used for cutting of vegetables.

Perhaps a small amount of vegan butter or olive oil is allowed? Olives are said to be soothing to the digestive tract (they can be laxative also so one might want to go easy on it).

Have a nice day! :sympathies:
