Hi Debbie

Cheers, S.
Test 1 Q1
550 millilitres of 0.45% Sodium Chloride remains. The infusion is running at 40 drops / minute. The drop factor is 20. How long will the infusion take to complete at this rate?
550x20 11000
40x60= 2400 =4.58 =5 hrs
550ml x drop factor 20 = 11,000 drops
11,000 drops divided by 40 drops per minute = ???minutes?
when you calculate hours and minutes, work out how many time 6o goes in completely for the hours, then the leftover minutes are the leftover minutes. you cna't just divide by 60 or you'll ge the wrong number.
