my outdoor 50 gallon pond? Everywhere I go on the Internet, I seem to find plenty of info...but combing through all the details is sooooo annoying! Is there anyone who can tell me how to literally go about setting everything up?
So far... I dug a hole and bought a 50 gallon pond tub. I'm looking for some nice individual to help explain what's involved here...? I'm going to want to eventually run a waterfall feature into the pond. Please keep in mind the entire pond is 50 gallons which is pretty average (18" depth by 5 Foot long).
For example...what kinda pump would you recommend? Where do I put the pump? In the water, out of the water...? Do I need to by a seperate filter? Etc... all of these things would be amazing if someone could help lay it all out for me!

Thanks for replying to my question. My issue has to do more with the pump, filter, etc... that sorta setup...?
As far as filtration goes...how do i setup all of that stuff? Also, for a 50 gallon pond, what type of pump would you recommend? Does the pump go in the water? Does the pump stay out of the water..? Im seriously retarted with this stuff!!!
