the gauges clip onto the wiring harness and the harness connects with a little distributor. then the wires go to a switch, which has one, where you turn it to green or blue, then another dims it. then i just have a red and a black that connects to the battery. but what i need to know is can the red go to the ignition instead of the battery so that i dont run the battery down or do you just turn the dimmer all the way down? i just didnt know and i want it to be right the first time. but the switch does not have an off button so i didnt know if it would kill the battery
