Help with vx8550

I tried most of the above items and couldn't send pic messages.

I finally fixed it by corabining the above and a Cricket Moto V3C MMS file.

I changed the following four MMS settings and it works, send and receive.
I May not need to change all four, but right now I am ready to call it quits after working on it all night.

MMSC Server URL http://mms.mycricket.com (dropped trailing /)
MMSC Upload URL 1111
MMS User Agent string V3C.XML (does Cricket recognize an 8550? I dont think so)
MMSC Post URL http://mms.mycricket.com/mms


I used the 8550 dll.

Couldn't test WAP because the cricket account isn't provisioned, but every time I load the DATA & MIP files via NVEDIt, all the MINs get changed to the MDN and the 'cricket' password in SIP password and AN password are reset to blanks.
 
I get message expired on my EnV every once in a while, and I can never seem to download those messages that say that, even later. But other ones come through fine. And it's not nuraber or service dependent. I think cricket screws up an occassional pix message. That's my theory.
 
Every time i try the 8500 dll's, it goes to 72% changing it into dm mode and it shuts my phone off.

When both fielRAB are left blank, i get: Message delivery failed.
 
Gary, you have struck again! My daughter is really really happy with what you've done to her chocolate. She says that the messages send really fast, which it didn't when it worked originally, and it receives fast as well even though you said it's not evdo. As an update to Gary's post, the first time I asked a rep to put WAP on the account, he said her $30 x3 wasn't capable of adding wap and I know that wasn't right but, what can you do, and today called again and got it added and web works as well. Also, Gary mentioned updating the firmware and don't know if that might be part of the mix if that helps anyone.. I can just say it works really good and my daughter is really happy.

They did add it for me after I asked the second rep and it's costing $5 a month for it in addition to the $30... Now with that said, I haven't seen my new phone bill yet so I don't know for sure what I will get charged but I believe only $5 a month more. And she says it works. :)
 
If your MIN and MDN are different nurabers and they revert and don't save when you use LGDownload. Program the phone in LGDownload with the MIN # as the MIN and MDN and then exit. Then manually change the MDN to the right # through the phones Service Programming menu. It should stick then. Just don't *228 because it will reset everything to your MDN. If that makes sense.
 
I have the usb cable cord, I downloaded the vx9800.dll file and I have the BITPIM program. I still can't figure out how to get my mms messaging to work. If you or anyone knows can you please help? I don't know how to change the server settings. And when I do menu 000000 it says incorrect service code...do you know what it is or do I need to call my service provider?
