I am old, I can't afford to go to school, but am very interested in poetry. I'm a realtive newcomer to the genre and was wondering if anyone has advise on a book or website on reading and understanding poetry. I enjoy reading and think I have a pretty good handle on it but I'm sure there is something I'm missing.
I like what I like also but there is more in the symbolism, the meter, and so on that can augment the meaning of the poem.
