Help with Ultra Glide Limited Storage Compartments

Probably a common theme, but how do you get the storage compartment snaps to actually work? Should I get new ones? Only issue I have had so far with my new bike...had it for three days! Fantastic bike...having a ton of fun, but the storage compartments are a nuisance. thanks

Tiny bit of WD40 and firm push with the thumb. Mine have stayed snapped for 8,000 miles now on my 010 Ultra.

I put Vaseline on mine - work great!

Put some Ky jelly on them, keep the bottle around if need for other things..... .......or buy the locking covers HD sells for the glove boxes.
