help with ubuntu linux. installing flash player and avg?

i have ubuntu 9.04 and want these programs. they have linux ones but which one do i download?

using synaptic package manager search for "Ubuntu-restricted-extras".
and install.

This will install flash, codecs, and more.

most programs that run on linux, will run on any flavor of linux.
