Help with training for Martial arts?

I'm self-studying Muay Thai, I have been for a while now, I'm a very excellent striker, I will get a coach, but not now...

Anyways, I shadow box all the time, meaning I box the air and strike the air, and rotate and practice, But I heard when you don't hit anything solid, you waste energy, sincce I have been training this way, I can shadow box air for hours and don't get tired
(I built up my stamina)

After I do this, i get a training partner and spar them a few rounds, and I can tell im very good with striking and ju jitsu

Should I get a punching bag? or continue what I'm doing?
I'm 5'6, 117 pounds and I'm 13

I'm not very flexible, I have good leg kicks.. should I consider training with a partner full time?
get a punching bag?
