Help with the W580i

Ok, well its been almost two years since i had this phone and it died near the beginning of this year. Well the battery did. So i got a new battery in the mail today and popped it in hoping it would turn on so i can finally have my mp3/camera back...no bueno xD

So it seems somethings up with the phone its a new battery and im trying to charge it right now but i have no clue if it is. When i first put the battery in, i tried to turn it on it vibrated i got excited and waited for the screen to go on but it vibrated again and stayed off. So anyone know how to resolve this?

Im no longer under At&t and i don't have the warranty anymore so hopefully you guys can help. Ty
 
i think firstly you should charge your battery for one but i don't think that any problems come with new battery if after changing you face this problem again so check your mobile it should be software problem also.
 
I agree it's the software the problem,or you can take ur to tech support of yor phone
 
It must be software problems, and the system need upgrade. Can't you find any store for repair?
 
It is a new battery. try charging it first for a couple of hours and if it still doesn't work you can perhaps go back to the store where you bought the battery and see if they can have it tested and replaced if necessary
