Help with the sims 2 games.?

i have 7 sims 2 games including the sims 2 and my computer runs the sims 2 but dose not run the sims 2 teen style stuff and the sims 2 celebration stuff and the sims 2 fashion stuff and the sims 2 apartment life expansion pack and the sims 2 glamour life stuff and the sims 2 Kitchen andd bathinteriorr design it won't run those people say i have to havedirectxx can i download it instead to make them work please help
