Are step parents allowed to hit their step kids in nevada?
What age do you have to be to get emancipated without your parents having to sign anything?
If you wanna know the reason I'm asking just read...
ok i live in las vegas and my friend(who lives here also) is having family issues. She hates her family(so do i)they never listen to her and she always gets in trouble for the stupidest things. They grounded her from her contacts(which she really needs so she can see) one time because she didnt get her teacher to sign an agenda. Recently they grounded her from reading books.How stupid is that. Anyways her stepmom smacks her in the head sometimes and says its legal in nevada to hit ur kids but is it legal for a step parent to hit their stepkids? Also she wants to get emancipated from her parents but there is no way her parents would let her and i think they have to sign a paper for her to get it.She will be 16 in april, does anyone know if she will be able to get emancipated w/out her parents having to sign papers then?
