i just got a new dirt bike, 2007 Yamaha TTR 125L. I am having trouble going from neutral to first gear? I now you slowly let go of the choke and give the bike some gas. When it slowly starts to move the bike, i slowly let go of it.

Can someone explain how to do this transfer from neutral to first WITHOUT STALLING?

Thank you, im just learning basic of this new bike, cause i had japanese no name brand dirt bike before that was junky!

The choke? It's called a clutch. Warm the bike up, pull the clutch in fully, click it in to 1st gear. Let the clutch out, and give it gas.. You must give the bike gas, and you cannot let it out too slowly else it will just burn your clutch.

Good luck.

After about a second after a high rev of gas, push up on the gear switch and let go of the choke and give it more gas to start going. You can not just stay still when first starting. You need to ride some distance.
