Help with Skype History?

I accidentally pressed on show all history for one of my contacts and now instead of everyday showing only a bit of yesterdays convo, it shows up to what I talked about 1 year ago. My history is very important and cannot be deleted. How can I hide all this access history and return to normal.
 
If you are using the new skype version 4.x

Scroll up to the beginning of the conversation,on top there should be tabs

"Show Messages From" : Yesterday , 7 Days, 30 Days, From Beginning

Select Yesterday
