I'm making little polymer clay figurines and I paint them with acrylic paint. I bought sculpey glaze satin to help make them more waterproof and protect the acrylic paint but the glaze gets really gloppy and puddles so that the entire figurine is not completely glazed over. And it seems to dry very fast, too, so when I glaze over an area that's already been glazed I get little chunks of glaze all over everything.
Is there a good glaze out there for acrylic painted polymer clay? I need these figurines to have the paint protected and stay waterproof as they are little decorations for terrariums and potted plants. UV protection is also a plus.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
