Rewrite each equation in general form, Ax^2 + bx+c = 0

a. 3x ^2 -13x=10
b. x^2-13= 5x
c. 3x^2+5x= -1
d. 3x^2 -2 -3x = 0

can some one please show me how to turn these equations into general form because i have no idea and can you please show your workmso i know how to do it thanks

please help big test tomorrow

thanks in advance :]

You have to add or subtract what ever is required to get the right side of the equation to equal 0. Then sort the coefficients in x-power order.

3x² - 13x = 10

subtract 10 from both sides:

3x² - 13x - 10 = 0

--

x² - 13 = 5x

Subtract 5x from both sides:

x² - 5x - 13 = 0

---

the other two are exactly the same - just different numbers. Try them on your own.
