Help with picking a phone from US Cellular!!?

I need help on deciding what phone to get. I'm trying to decide if I should get the blackberry Torch 9850 or the HTC Merge. I also hear HTC Desire is a decent phone.
Which is better, an android of blackberry?
 
Id get one of the HTC phones because they run on windows and that means theyre fast and good quality. Blackberry phones are okay. My brother and alot of my friends have blackberry's but they all hate it cause it can sometimes be REALLY slow, especiallly when you use the internet.

I just ordered the HTC Trophy from verizon and I read the reviews and everyone says that this is an amazing phone and it was rated 4 and a half stars. I havent received it yet, but hopefully I'll get it soon.

I personally think that android is better cause its much faster. Blackberry's are okay.
