everytime I use the gradient tool the image gets brigther each time and will eventually turn white,
When I first installed photoshop it was NOT like that I could use it as many times I wanted on the same layer without
any color changing. i've tried everything in mode from screen to normal . messed with every setting in mode and nothing
it's just changings the color of the picture instead a leaving a stroke .before i would be able to use gradient tool to make a splash or shiny pattern on my pics,,
but now when i try to use the tool it will lighten the whole image,
i have the mode set to normal on the drop down menu..i dont know what happened,all of a sudden
i cant get back to the way it used to work..i have photoshop 7
