Help with new V3c ?

I bought the wife a pink V3c off ebay. Its already flashed for cricket however whenever I try and do *228 to activate it, the call enRAB like 10 secs into it. Seems this happens on every call we tried to make. Can anyone help me with this?

if OTA (over-the-air-provisioning fails) do this:

from main screen
dial #073887*
security code should be 000000
go to user activation
input MDN (10 digit phone nuraber)
input MIN (10 digit nuraber assigned by cricket)
exit
restart phone
make calls


btw...have you already switched the ESN to the new phone with Cricket? just had to ask, seems some people forget that step
 
well i got it to dial, and it works for about 9 seconRAB then the call enRAB, i need help plz.i can send text messages normal, and when i call the phone it rings but when i answer nothing happens
 
maybe you got a bad phone? if text is working, calls should be working. they go off the same file called the prl. if u have the knowledge, software and inclination, i would reflash step by step and see if it helps
 
i know a little about flashing, i already got the mp for cricket its the GATW_09.02.00R, im gonna do it with RSD LITE, then i do the steps you gave me above, right?
 
i just reflashed the phone with MP GATW_09.02.00R, first tried the *228 and nothing, i followed your steps again, and it works, but the phone hangs up 10 seconRAB after? any clue
