HELP with new coverage areas please...

I have multiple customers that go outside the cricket home area, into the "new" coverage areas, and it will not let them call. It says something about the Verizon network, and to enter a credit card to make the call. They are in area's where they should for sure be in the Cricket extended coverage, and not actual roaming. They are on the new plans as well, with a fresh *228 in our home market. Any suggestions for me? :help:

It would depend on what area they are in. If they go into an AWS market they will not have service unless they have a tri-band phone. If it is a flashed phone you need to make sure they have a nationwide plan & prl, and are actually in a cricket coverage area. Flashed phones will not work in AWS markets so that may be your problem. Good Luck.

The phones I am referring to our brand new cricket phones, all tri band. These are all customers that used to have service(new expanded area), but last week started having issues. The only thing I can think of is that some of the roaming partners are not sticking by the agreement with Cricket, maybe.?

If they are getting Verizon, which is not the nationwide provider Sprint is, you might be outside of Sprint Coverage area. That is the only thing I can think of.

Just like speer said if they are getting verizon roaming message they are not in a coverage area. The basic coverage map is not exact, and you would have to get the exact area they are at and check the coverage online.
