I've worked with a local company who stripes parking lots for 3 years, I can do all the work myself and frequently am the crew leader running the job. I live in Iowa, I am considering opening my own parking lot striping company in Southwest Florida. A friend of mine who owns his own business there is interested and willing to invest. Also while in Iowa we can only work 6 to 7 months because of winter I could work year round. What questions should I ask and issues should I look into before taking the jump?
