A bit of a long shot but you never know
I'm trying to find out the name of a film I saw on TV when I was young (1970ish)
It was made in the 40's/50's (I think) and was a thriller.
It was about a man who hired a (some) hitman to kill his wife.
She is in a wheelchair and is living on the top floor of an apartment block. The killer is climbing the stairs.
The husband decides he loves his wife and rings her to tell her he loves her and to call for help. As she is wheelchair bound she can't make it to the window.
Some of the above may not be exactly correct but the gist is
May have been Ray Milland as well but I'm not sure.
Any ideas..?
