It's for my latest book, I need to know how British people living in Port Royal in 1965, would speak. :)
I realize they spoke English, but I'm not sure if they would speak like in Pirates of the Caribbean, for example, or like replacing the "s" in verbs with "th" ( Doth) or would speak to a person saying "thou" rather than "you".
I am sooo sorry! Typo! I meant to write 1695!
 
Are you sure you got the year right? 1965? Cause they would pretty much speak the same as they do now, except maybe a bit more proper and with some different slang.
