E.G.R. staying open is one. another is fuel pressure. maybe to much. it should be at around 35 psi when running. i have found a lot of ford fuel pressure regulators go bad and stick closed driving pressure to 100.0 psi. also check for a vacuum leak. and make sure nothing is on the frequency wire on the mass air flow sensor. like a leaf or dirt. if your check engine light is on go have it scanned at auto-zone the Scan is free.

If i slow down to about 25 miles an hr. My truck starts to act like there is not enough gas passing though. what do I need to check?
