Help with metathesis/net ionic equations?

1.) Sulfur trioxide gas gets bubbled through a solution of sodium hydroxide. What will happen to the final temperature of the reaction mixture?

I know that the net ionic equation is: SO3 (g) & 2 OH-(aq) --> (SO4)-2 (aq) & H2O(l)

But I can't tell if this reaction is exothermic, endothermic, or what happens to the temperature of the reaction.

2.) Solutions of aluminum sulfate and calcium hydroxide are mixed. Write the balanced molecular and detailed ionic equation.

I got as far as: Al^2+ (aq) + SO4^2- (aq) + Ca^2+ (aq) + OH- (aq) ----> Al(OH)3 (s) + CaSO4(s)

Please help.
