help with k700i and tmobile plan

Hi guys, i just signed up with tmobile, having been with cingular for 2 years, and got the k700i as my new cell phone.

now the dealer told me that since this phone is suppose to work with cingular, and now has been unlocked to work with t-mobile that I won't be able to use the internet.

does anyone know anything about this? its true that when i try to log on, it doesn't let me...do i have to configure something?

i'm a noob when it comes to cell phones...this is probalby the most fancy cell phone i've ever purchased, but i don't know how to use it to the fullest. The manual isn't in english, so I can't figure out how to setup or use the internet capabilities.

all help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
if you have cingular phone and have t-mo provider it's imposible to go on the internet because your t-zone is missing. what you still have in that phone is a program from cingular not from t-mo.

all you need to do to get your phone working with t-mobile internet/mms/wap is to call customer care (611) and ask them to send you the settings.

or better yet, don't call them and just do it yourself. Here's same link they use to send the settings:
