Help with husband that has panic disorder.

My husband was diagnosed with panic disorder, mild agoraphobia, depression, and post tramatic stress. I knew for years that something was wrong but could not put a finger on it. In 2000 he was in a horrible car accident and shattered his hip. Three years ago, during an ice storm he had his first panic attack. He has been on several different meRAB. I am having a hard time on my part to know what to do for him. He has panic attacks in his sleep. I don't know how to help him. Sometimes I feel like I may be losing him. Is anyone else married to someone with panic dissorder? If so how do you deal with it?

Is there anyway you can go with to group therapy - like local hospitals offer group therapy for people with panic and anxiety disorder. I know because I suffer with it. They let you bring a loved one and you get to talk with everyone who share maybe the same problems your husband may be going through. Myself, I don't take medicine - I meditate, positive affirmations, read books on the subject, and take certain vitamins. Exercise is really good too. Just try to walk with him. I am currently going to an accunpuncturist which really helps. There are so many books on the subject and they even have a workbook you can use everyday.
