help with homecoming dance!?

im going to my first homecoming dance in october. i already asked a question about my dress but this is different. i dont have too many guy friends, or a boyfriend so i dont think im gonna have a date, but dont alot of people go in a group of friends? my one friend said EVERYONE gets a date and if you dont your reputations ruined for the rest of hs, but i dont think thats true. what do you think?
 
no offense but your friend has no idea what she's talking about. Freshman year I didn't have a date. I was asked, but I said no. I just ended up going in a big group of my friends, and I had a great time. Sophomore year I had a date and it can be just equally as fun.

Don't worry about not having a date. Go to your dance unattached and have a great time.
 
Absolutely not. You dont have to have a date to homecoming. At least my homecoming last year wasnt like that at all. I didnt have a date, and I went. For what I know my reputation hasn't been ruined.

It is true, most people do bring dates, but I'm sure you wont be the only one there dateless. I dont think people are too concerned about who's bringing who. I think there more concerned about having fun and having a good time at the dance.
 
i have a boyfriend, but he was the year above so i asked my best boy mate jason if he'd go with me


it doesn't look desperate if you ask a boy and it guarantees one of 'the best ones' if they say know don't get upset and ask someone else


don't let it spoil your night though you can stay with you friends all night any way
