I have to create a game based on isms; communism, imperialism, capitalism, etc. and list the rules and objectives of the game, with nationalism fueling the action. My game is set up somewhat like war, where four players just have to try to conquer each other. I've already got it down where philosophies determine special things; IE capitalist countries would gain or lose double the amount of gold at all times. The higher your nationalism in this game, the closer you get to becoming hegemony, which means improved abilities. The lower it is, the closer you get to being in anarchy, and you must roll the dice to try to revolutionize to save yourself.
I can't think of a way to represent communism in the rules. How do communist countries interact with others, and how can they be differentiated from other countries? I know that they make everyone within their country equal via government control, but there's no workforce element involved in the game; only gold, and that's more about overall wealth. If a communist country became very powerful, what's one weakness it might have? Strengths?
