HELP WITH FLASH PLAYER OR JAVASCRIPT!!!!!?

I bought a new Acer desktop computer yesterday with Windows Vista Premium. Today I was going to go onto Youtube and look at some funny videos and such, and it said i didnt have flash player or javascript wasnt enabled. I went and downloaded the newest flash player and I searched the web to enable Javascript. THIS DIDNT WORK!!!!!!!!! Can somebody please help me, I cant do like anything on the internet!
 
what you install internet explorer 8 or firefox...best is that you install mozilla firefox 3.5 it have own javascript and futher you install adobe flash player.....
