HELP! with fish tank!?

I have a 30 gallon or more fish take with 6 small fake plants and a decorative pirate ship so my plecco can hide in it. The fish i have are, a comet gold fish, a Common Goldfish, a Celestial Eye and my plecco (sucker fish). I keep the water between 70-80 degrees. I have a filter and a air pump. But for some reason, i looked at my celestial and he looks bloody on onside. I took him out and put him in a separate bowl.

I don't know what to do. Is he being hurt by the other 3 fish? I have had my comet for over 7 years, and he isn't aggressive. But I don't know about the common. please help!

celestial are prone to internall disease and bullying of other fish, your commet may not be aggresssive towards the celestial but the common may be. Since these fish are "breed" with problems swimming they shouldn't be kept with other fish other then their own species. Common goldfish are very aggressive. I think that these fish should only be kept with other comets or larger kois. They like to fight for territorial aggression of food aggression.

Your celestial probably has internall disease of some type, put him back in the main aquarium and see if he gets beter soon. Since his deformities with swimming he may have bumped into an object in your aquarium. Not only could this be an injury but it could be internall parasites. If you just got him its very likely but if you've had him for a long time then it shouldn't be.
Good Luck!

I would put my money on the pleco like the first poster said. plecos love the slime layer on carp. they should not be kept with golds (fancy or common) or koi

Any of golds that have the genetically altered eyes should be only kept with the same kind. Bubbles with celestials, etc. They are very delicate. Plus you have a pleco. These are know (I've seen it myself) to latch onto golds as they love the slime coat. Frankly I would put my money on him.
Or
Your celecstial is experienceing some kind of infection. you say the water is between 70-80...does it yo-yo a lot? Is it in a room that varies greatly in it's temperature at times? Varying temps. can bring on health problems.

Poor stocking and your tank is overstocked. Also your temperature should be kept steady and to suit your fish they should be in separate tanks.

The celestial goldfish is a sensitive fancy goldfish and should not be housed with either the common varieties or the pleco. Odds are he is being bullied or the water quality is poor.

Plecos should not be housed with goldfish.
