help with digital tv problems with interference?

i have just renewed are tv Ariel for a digital one i have put all new digital approved cable through the house i have placed a mast head amplifier on the ariel to boost it as we are in a weak signal area the picture is good on the digital but i am picking up interference on the terestial stations and that is effecting some of the digital channels how can i get rid of the interference so the digital runs without jumping about when this interference is there
