I have always used traditional mediums for my art, but i would like to start going digital. But i have some questions:
1) What is a good digital art program and where can i download it? I know SAI is a good one along with photoshop.
2) What is the best tablet and how much? And/or some good, yet affordable ones.
3) How long did it take you to get used to your tablet? Any suggestions? I am borrowing a tablet from a good friend of mine, it was a cheap wacom bamboo tablet. I have doodled some on the included art program, but it feels very unnatural to me. The pen feels too big (in my hand and as far as the tip is) and it feels very strange when i rest my hand on the tablet.
