Ive been using photoshop for many years now, but Ive never used it to design large things such as banners and billboards. I just recently made a banner, but it took forever to do anything because the file size got to be about 2.5Gb.
The banner i was designed was printed out at 6' x 15' but i designed it at 1/4 scale and 300 dpi. I kept the res at 300 cause i dont want it to print out pixelated or anything....
So my question is, at what scale and resolution should i make large file so they still print out good quality but aren't insanely huge files.
