Help with cooking...?

I'm only 12 yrs. old, and I want to learn how to cook. Actually, I need to learn how to cook. I asked my mom and we were trying to cook soup in a pot, but then I burned it...and then my mom said I was stupid and will only survive on take out food. I tried to make fish with my sister, but I messed it up because it was still cold. She yelled at me too, saying the same thing and told me to go to culinary school, which I don't want to go to. So, does anyone know any easy recipes? Because when they both yelled at me I felt really embarassed and stupid. So...anyone...?

soup is very easy to make(chicken soup).Put water to boil in a deep pan with a spoon of salt.not to full you want to leave room for all the stuff your going to throw in there.Buy leg quarters wash good and throw in pan un covered cook till blood doesn't come out anymore about 45minutes on high.cut carrots, celery and about half a cup of white rice washed in hot then cold water.after the 45 minutes lower flame to medium heat covered;throw in rice and a little bit of tomato sauce just to give it some color for about 20 minutes or till tender to the bite, throw veggies and also a half peeled onion with some powder for soups called consomme chicken flavor!put about two spoons full.you can add some more water if you need to.your soup will be done when veggies are tender.Good luck!

You're only 12. There aren't too many 12 year olds who can cook. It takes a lot of practise. When I was your age and younger I used to take out children's cookbooks from the library. They would have easy recipes for sandwiches and wraps and simple cookies and fruit salads and things like that. Follow the directions exactly and use a timer when needed to time things that go in the oven. Once you have a few successful dishes your confidence will grow.
