Help with Comcast internet but using verizon wireless router?

I used to have Fios with verizon and had a wireless router along with it. I just recently changed to comcast and have just a basic router for one computer. So the Ps3, xbox, and 3 laptops are useless(internet wise). I have to order a wireless router which will take a week or longer to get. Before the comcast guy left he said I could use the old verizon wireless router to set up our other devices. My question is how? I looked at both routers and thought about just changing the wires from the working comcast to the non working verizon one but there is a small phone line cord in the comcast one that would have no place in the old verizon wireless one.

If you could shed any light on this it would be nice, and save me money
