Have a 97 T&C LXI 3.8 that would not start one morning. All I heard was a faint click. Also, I had power to the stereo but it would not work.
I replaced the battery but that didn't work, then I replaced the starter and it still would not start. My friend came over to look at it and just by jiggling some wires under the hood he got it to start. He said probably a bad, loose or corroded ground but I couldn't find anything.
My van starts now but I have no working stereo and the lights on the ac control panel keep flashing, so I think something is still wrong.
If I remove the IOD fuse for 30 minutes and then replace (read about this trick on internet), then the stereo will work again but only for a few minutes.
Does any one have any ideas what could be wrong?
I read on the internet that the flashing ac lights mean that something has to be reprogrammed, which I did per the instructions I found online, but the lights continue to flash even though I reprogrammed it.
I don't know exactly which wires my friend jiggled, neither does he. He was just randomly shaking wires until it started.
could any one tell me what the bcm looks like or where it's located? Where to purchase one?
