I got the Canon EOS Rebel T1i for Christmas, and I know how to take pictures and video and focus and that really simple stuff, but other then that I don't really get it. When I hit buttons it says it's not available in that setting, but it seems like it's not available in any setting.
When I'm in a certain mode, let's say portrait mode, all I can edit is the photo quality (i think- ex. L, M, S,) and the type of shooting. I can't turn the flash off, or change the brightness, or anything else. How do I change the brightness, turn off the flash if possible, or anything else? I see an AV button with a + and - with it but I can't use it.
Basically I just want to know how to change settings other than the picture size/quality and the shooting mode, and how to change brightness.
Sorry if this is confusing, but anything will help.
oh and also ,when i'm in a mode where i can change things, example M, how do i change things? i can like, hover over the particular setting, but when i hit set it still doesn't let me change it.
