A star’s spectrum shows the HB spectral line at a wavelength of 475.3 nm. The laboratory wavelength of that line is 486.1 nm. What is the velocity of that star with respect to us, and is it receding or approaching?

The equation is => v = c ( f1 / f2 )
'v' is velocity of star
'c' is speed of light
'f1' is observed frequency of star
'f2' is laboratory frequency

The star is receding from us.
