my apple snail hasn't moved now for about 2 days ( nearly3). I have read that one way to find out if he is dead, is to try and open his "door". i did try this but i wanted to be really gentle with him. It did open up slightly. It has stayed partly open (i can see his body) but earlier i thought i saw his little tentacles move. I have put him into his own little container so i can keep an eye on him. I have also had a smell of him, and he doesnt smell " awful" and discusting like people have said. im not sure what to do with him as if he is dead, i dont want him in the tank, but if he is alive i dont want to bury him alive :S some help would be greatly appreciated
