I know it's really easy at the starting and will start gradually getting harder, but here is the problem:
A bowling ball traveling with constant speed hits the pins at the end of a bowling lane 16.5m long. The bowler hears the sound of the bowling ball hitting the pins 2.50s after the ball is released from his hands. What is the speed of the ball? The speed of sound is 340 m/s.
I need to get the basic concepts in my mind, if anyone can please tell me their e-mail (preferably someone that checks their e-mail on a daily basis) so that I can ask questions in regards to these types of problems. Once again, I just have to grasp the concepts behind the problems. Please and thank you.
