Help with a French film title

I saw a film a few years ago at a Telegraph premiere screening at the cinema in Broad Street, Birmingham. It was a French film set in the war. The dad of the boy in the film was a clown, and the son was embarrassed. I think there was also a scene where they were trying to blow a rail line up by breaking into the signal box building. At the end, the son was more understanding of his dad's occupation as a clown

I cannot remember any part of the title, but it came out around 2005-2007
