Help with a Compilation

Hello, this is my first post here and like so many things it's born out of necessity. I'm creating a compilation for someone who I've already done a nuraber of compilations for and am running out of fresh material. I poured through the compilations thread, and while there were a nuraber of good tracks in there, most of them weren't really very accessible in the vein of what I'm looking for.

This person is mostly into Rock/Indie/Classic Rock with some Reggae/Funk/Soul/Blues/Dance influences. Generally nothing too brooding or heavy. Here's what I've got so far to give you an idea.

1. Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight
2. State Radio - Camilo
3. Firebug - Paradise
4. Beck - Farewell Ride
5. The Mamas and the Papas - California Dreamin'
6. Mayra Andrade - Lua
7. Iggy Pop - The Passenger
8. The Who - Magic Bus

Any Suggestions or comments are welcome. In the end, I'm looking at something around 16 or 18 tracks.

I'd really like to add a couple more songs, so am still looking for suggestions. Also, if you want to comment on what you feel the weaker parts of the compilation are and make suggestions for improvement, that would be appreciated too.
