Help with 2 Treos flashed to Cricket

I dont know!

I bought a Treo 650 flashed to work for Cricket off of Ebay. I had the ESN switched over and tried *228 but kept getting the message that my phone was unable to be programmed. I tried #*#000000# to change the nurabers manually as well but *228 is still the same end result. I had also purchased a flashed Treo 650 off of Ebay, from a different seller, for my girlfriend and the same thing happened. We switched the ESN and tried *228 but get the same message from Cricket that they were unable to program the phone.
I initially thought that maybe something was wrong with the 1st phone but I don't understand why a 2nd phone from a completely different seller would also do the same thing. I've been trying to get these 2 to work for several days and it's been extremely frustrating. Before I try to send both phones back, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

When I flashed my 700p over I had the same problem and I tried *22801 through *22809 until I got the cricket programming message and It said programming successful. Here in Omaha Nebraska it turned out to be *22807

Yes, the recording comes on and says to stay on the line until conformation that the phone has been programmed then it says that they are sorry....unable to program the phone at this time.....BUT.....problem is now solved :clapping: I just left the Cricket store and both phones are now activated. It turns out that on the 2nd phone, the MIN is different from the Mobile Nuraber so once that was corrected *228 worked. We decided to retry the 1st phone where the Mobile Nuraber and MIN are the same...we found that the ESN Hex was different in the phone than on the sticker behind the battery so the Hex # in the phone was added in to the computer and then it worked.......Thanks to all for your suggestions
